Strawberry Banana Smoothie

-small bannana
-1 scoop protein powder
-crushed ice
-1 teaspoon flaxseed oil
-4oz skim or soy milk

Blend on high


Bagel, Cream Cheese, and Smoked Salmon

-1 whole wheat or whole grain bagel (toasted)
-2 tbsp light cream cheese
-4 oz smoked salmon
-4 slices cucumber
-4 slices tomato
-2 slices red onion
-1 medium apple

Spread cream cheese onto bagel. Top with smoked salmon, cucumber, tomato, and onion. Serve with an apple.

 

 

Snack Ideas

-Low fat cheese with fruit
-Chick pea dip and veggies
-Protein bars
-Low fat yogurt or cottage cheese with
walnuts
-sliced chicken or turkey with celery and
carrots

 

Guilt-Free B.L.T

-3/4 tablespoon fat-free mayonaise
-1 whole wheat tortilla
-2 slices turkey bacon, cooked
-2 ounces roasted turkey breast
-2 slices tomato
-2 lettuce leaves

Smear the mayo on the tortilla. Line the middle of the tortilla with the bacon and top with turkey breast, tomato, and lettuce. Roll it tightly into a tube.

PB & J Smoothie

-3/4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
-3/4 cup skim milk
-2 teaspoons peanut butter
-1 medium banana
-1/2 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries
-2 teaspoons whey powder
-approx. 4 ice cubes
